Ginger - Beagle Dog for Adoption in San Diego, California

We recently took in this beautiful girl, shes a Redtick Beagle. Shes 3 years old. She came from the same home as Rusty (another Beagle we recently posted about separately). Ginger is very sweet but she needs some time to get to know you and trust you. Weve been fostering for a week and now and we finally get to see her real personality, she only needed some time.

She loves attention, hanging out with our other Beagles, go out for walks (she walks ok on a leash, just pulls a bit). Shes treat motivated, which will help with her training. Shes around 25lbs, she was a bit underweight when she arrived but she looks great now.

We rescued her from a family that decided they couldnt keep her and Rusty longer and was about to place them in a shelter. Ginger was an outdoor dog, so shell need a family that will help her with house/potty training, she wasnt crate trained either, weve been working on it and shes doing great. A home with a Beagle lover family and a nice backyard would be her perfect home! We were told that shes used to kids and good with them, but again she needs some time to settle in. Unknown about how she does around cats, we have no known history and we dont have any in our home to test.

- Leash, harness and collar with microchip ID collar tag

- Some of her current food (Hills kibble, salmon based)

Ginger will be ready to be adopted by late this week. Pick up would be in San Diego, CA. Transportation could be arranged to the right home depending on distance, if needed.
