DESCRIPTION
Meet Koa!
At almost 4 months old and 15 pounds, Koa is the perfect age to discover that the world is one big adventure-and he can't wait to have a family by his side for all of it. With his soulful eyes, adorable floppy ears, and sweet personality, this handsome boy wins people over wherever he goes.
Koa appears to be a Beagle mix, which means he's likely to grow into a fun-sized, active companion. Based on his current size, we estimate he'll be around 30-40 pounds when full grown, though that's just our best guess.
Like any young puppy, Koa is learning all the important life skills. He'll thrive with a family that's ready to continue his training, provide plenty of playtime, and help him grow into the amazing adult dog he's meant to be. In return, you'll get endless laughs, puppy kisses, and a loyal best friend.
Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a cuddle partner, or a sidekick for your everyday adventures, Koa is ready to fill your home with love and fun.
All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee is $250.
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
