Meet Ms. Daisy — Professional Belly-Rub Supervisor
Ms. Daisy is a 9-year-old female Beagle who was found abandoned as a stray, but you would never guess it from her sweet manners and loving personality. This delightful girl has clearly lived in a home before and is ready to settle right back into family life.
Daisy is house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and has mastered the art of being exactly where her people are. She is what we like to call a "proximity Beagle" — close enough to keep an eye on you, but not so close that you trip over her (most of the time).
One of Daisy's most charming features is her voice. She has plenty to say! She'll whine and cry happily when you come home because she believes every reunion should be celebrated with a proper belly rub. She even talks while she eats, offering running commentary on her meals like a tiny food critic.
Daisy gets along well with other dogs. We don't yet know how she feels about cats or very young children. She walks reasonably well on a leash and enjoys gentle strolls. Because she's a senior girl, stairs can be a little challenging, and she occasionally appreciates a helping hand getting onto chairs, couches, or beds.
Her ideal home would have limited stairs and people who appreciate a loyal companion nearby. She would be happy as an only dog or with canine friends.
Daisy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is fostered in the Kansas City area and is ready to find the forever family she deserves.
If you've been looking for a sweet senior Beagle who comes with excellent house manners, built-in conversation skills, and a strong commitment to belly rubs, Ms. Daisy may be your perfect match. You can apply to be Daisy's new family at www.bassetandbeagle.org. Her adoptioin fee is $350.00
