Justice is a soft-hearted beagle who is beginning to come out of his shell, but still struggles with fear and uncertainty in new situations. He is curious about the world around him, but unsure how to fully engage with it yet.
He does best with calm handling, gentle voices, and routines he can learn to trust. Sudden changes or high activity environments may be overwhelming for him right now.
Justice is showing small signs of progress and comfort with time and consistency. He will need a patient home that understands fear-based behavior and is willing to let him set the pace. In the right environment, Justice has the potential to grow into a loyal and loving companion.

Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
