Lady is thought to be around 7 years old. Lady was found near the Athens Arby's on E. State Street, Athens. However, she has been seen pretty much all over Athens for the past few weeks. Lady is adorable but a little scared right now. We think that she would do best in a home with another dog. She loves to be with other dogs at the shelter. Lady currently weighs 21 pounds. Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.

Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 5/26/26)
