Liberty - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Lockport, New York

Liberty may be an older adult, but apparently nobody has told her that. This girl still has plenty of pep in her step and is, in every possible way, ALL beagle. She’s curious, funny, determined and always interested in what you’re doing, especially if there’s a chance it involves food.
Liberty doesn’t hear very well, but she absolutely does not let that slow her down. She gets around wonderfully and is perfectly happy doing her beagle thing.
She does great with other dogs the vast majority of the time. Her challenge is around food and things she considers valuable. Even a stray crumb on the floor can become something worth protecting, so she needs a home that can feed dogs separately and be pretty diligent about keeping food and scraps picked up. Because of this no young children where there can be lots of food crumbs
She has met a cat and has no issues with them!
Liberty is a funny, spunky older girl with so much personality and plenty of life left to live. She just needs the right setup and someone who understands that food management is important for her.
