Bori is about 11 and about 35 pounds. She has a friendly and affectionate persomality.
Bori has lived with cats. For the most part, Bori does not chase or bark at cats, squirrels and rabbits she meets outside. . Bori does not know how ti signal her need to go out for potty so should have a regular schedule for going out. Her foster is working to train her to use a bell and she is catching on to that concept.,
Bori sleeps well and adapts to the schedule in her home. She loves to be held and cuddled.
She loves attention and closeness with people.
Bori has traveled by car, light rail, and ferry with her current fosters and loves all. She engages with people she meets and everyone loves her.
Bori enjoys the company of other dogs. However, we are recommending she be an only pet . Bori resource guards food from other dogs. If Bori's person is eating, she will also resource her person from other dogs getting close to the food.
Bori has successful play dates with dogs if no food is involved.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
