Zoey came to us at one year of age! She grew up in a rural area with no social visitors or outside experiences such as riding in a car, going to a park or pet store. So now what do we have?????

A beautiful dog with the sweetest temperament, but a dog that doesn't "show well" in the social world we live in. We can take her to an adoption event, but look at the photo, she won't wag her tail, she probably won't look at you so, unfortunately, she gets passed by.

For the people she knows and loves, she inundates them with kisses, hugs and tail wags. For a new family, she would love them unconditionally. Zoey is simply one of those dogs that needs to be given a chance to settle into a new environment with new people and given some time to blossom! She is a GREAT DOG! Can you help us network her to find the people that will give her that chance to shine?

She's a little over a year, perfect size at knee high and a loving, kind, friendly girl! She is also trained in the Paws Behind Bars - Luther Luckett Correctional Complex Dog Training Program where she is so smart and knows the commands of sit, down, stay, come, touch and shake!
