This beautiful face is one of 11 lucky new arrivals that are making their way to Oregon from Mexico to land in temporary foster homes in the greater Portland area. They're coming into our program thanks to our partnership with a rescue that operates near Lake Chapala outside of Guadalajara. Rescue notes:
Regal the Beagle has had a tough life so far, having come from a hoarding situation where she actually did remarkably well. But her inner charm is coming out now that she is in a safe environment, and her personality is speaking volumes! Just look at those deep brown eyes that tell you she is experienced and soulful. She is a perfect medium size, and is mature but not old. She is mellow and greets you with a happy dance and a roll onto her back requesting belly rubs. She is amiable with her kennel mates and really treasures time with the volunteers who love on her.

Beagles are known for being curious, merry, friendly, and excellent with families. Regal is no exception - she is gentle and will bond in a short amount of time. Regal will benefit from a training refresher, but being food motivated, she will be a shoo-in. Regal just wants a place to call home and a human to call hers!
