Meet Banjo!

Banjo is a handsome 1-year-old, 16-pound Cavapoo who is beginning his journey to discover what it means to be a beloved family member. After spending his early life in an Amish puppy mill, he is now learning that the world can be full of kindness, comfort, and fun.

Banjo is a sweet, gentle boy who is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. Each day brings new experiences, and he continues to gain confidence as he learns to navigate life in a home environment.

About Banjo:

Sweet and gentle personality
Learning to trust and enjoy life as a family dog
Currently working on leash skills
Doing well with potty training
Gets along well with dogs of all sizes and ages
Curious and observant, often taking cues from the resident dogs
Still discovering toys but has started showing interest

Banjo would thrive in a patient home that understands he may need time to adjust and build confidence. A friendly, confident canine companion would be a wonderful role model as he continues learning how to be a dog.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
