Meet Xander!
This handsome face is one of 11 lucky new arrivals that are making their way to Oregon from Mexico to land in temporary foster homes in the greater Portland area. They're coming into our program thanks to our partnership with a rescue that operates near Lake Chapala outside of Guadalajara. Stay tuned for more updates as we learn, but don't wait to submit your adoption application online through our website to learn more and to get the chance to meet and bring one of these wonderful and amazing rescue pups home with you!
Rescue notes:
Calling all Boxer lovers - a friendlier Boxer mix there never was! Take a gander at this handsome boy, who is just super happy and joyful. Xander has loved The Ranch and its staff and volunteers since Day One, greeting us with his usual cheerful smile and never looking back! He loves to play and is good with other dogs. Xander is young, healthy, and simply gorgeous - his shiny, dark, seal-like coat with contrasting white gloves, chest, and muzzle are a striking combination, indeed. And while (in true Boxer fashion) his "RBF" looks a bit ... um ... grumpy, his personality is its antithesis. Xander needs a bit of leash work to contain his enthusiasm, but he is a smart people-pleaser and will undoubtedly be a quick train. Let Xander show you how to live life to the fullest!
Will you be his lucky hero?
