This adorable 3-month-old Beagle mix has settled beautifully into foster care and is proving to be everything people love about puppies. He's playful, affectionate, curious, and always ready to make a new friend.
Scout loves playing with other dogs, meeting new people, exploring the yard, and stretching out in the sunshine for a good nap. At home, he's sleeping through the night in his crate, making progress with potty training, and has been an all-around wonderful houseguest.
Even better, Scout recently received a clean bill of health from the vet and is thriving in foster care. His foster family describes him as a sweet, active puppy who is always happy to be part of whatever is going on.

ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
