Meet Dexter!

Dexter is an easy going and well behaved charmer looking for a forever home.

Dexter is house trained and great with other dogs, cats, and kids.

Dexter started life as a lab beagle. Since his freedom day, he has been living for many years in a home with a family.

He was surrendered to us due to a family member having a medical condition unrelated to Dexter.

Dexter is now 8 years old but with the heart and body of a much younger pup!

Our vet tells us he is in great shape! We are not aware of any medical issues.

His foster tells us that he lives life with the enthusiasm and joy of a younger dog. Perhaps making up for his puppy years being spent at a lab.

Everywhere Dexter goes, he lights up the room, charms, and steals hearts.

The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs.
