Meet Bennie — a loving survivor ready for a family

I’m about 9 months old and one of four siblings looking for a home of my own. A kind foster, who works as a home health nurse, found us in heartbreaking conditions. We were starving, and some dogs had already died. She took us in and cared for us over the past several months. Now I’m healthy, feeling good, and ready for my next chapter.

After all we’ve been through, I’m still a very loving dog. I’ve been spayed/neutered and am ready to meet the family who will give me the safe, happy life I deserve. I can be adopted on my own, so you don’t have to take home all four siblings—just me!

I would love a home where I can be part of the family. I have never had that. A sofa to snuggle on, a few toys of my own and someone to love me. I would do best in a home with older children. The chaos of very young children may not be the best for me and frankly I just don't know how to play with little kids.
