Meet Jack—a little survivor with a whole lot of love to give!

Jack is a playful hound mix estimated to be 512–6 months old and currently weighing 32 pounds. He is full of life, loves everyone he meets, and is ready for a family to grow up with!

Jack’s story began with heartbreaking loss. A good Samaritan found him abandoned along the roadside, starving and desperately in need of help. His brother had already been found and had sadly passed away from malnourishment. Determined to give Jack a chance, his rescuer took him in and rushed him to the veterinarian for lifesaving care. Jack is named after the veterinarian who saved his life—a lasting reminder of his second chance.

Today, Jack’s happy, playful personality shines through. He still needs to gain a little weight, but he has come such a long way! He is currently being fostered at our local doggy daycare, where he is learning manners and working on leash walking and potty training. Like any puppy, he will need a patient family to continue helping him learn.

Jack is fully vetted, neutered, and on flea and heartworm prevention.

After such a difficult start, Jack deserves a lifetime of full meals, playtime, and love. Could you be the family that gives this sweet boy his happily ever after?

Medical & Spay/Neuter Information:
Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.

Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy's first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter's expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.

Breed Disclaimer:
Breed is our best estimate based on the puppy's appearance and, when known, the mother's appearance. Fathers are rarely known, and litters can have multiple fathers, meaning puppies may be half-siblings with different breed mixes.
