DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Life is better when you curl up with a puppy and a warm cup of tea - meet Babe Peppermint! Sweet Peppermint is part of the adorable Tea Litter of five puppies - Peppermint, Earl Gray, Oolong, Chai, and Chamomile - who unfortunately found themselves in a very full shelter in Alabama. Thankfully, this little family was rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and is now safe and thriving in a loving foster home. While Peppermint has enjoyed being part of a playful puppy pile with her siblings, she's ready to start the next chapter of her life with a forever family. Could that be with you?
Peppermint is believed to be a Beagle / Hound / Lab mix (best guess), and she has all the wonderful qualities you'd expect from such a lovable combination. She's a happy, friendly puppy who loves to play, explore, and make new friends. Peppermint does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys romping around with her canine pals. After playtime, Peppermint is just as happy to settle down for cuddles. She has a sweet, affectionate nature and absolutely loves being held and spending time with her people.
Like all young puppies, Peppermint is at the perfect age for training, socialization, and learning all the things that will help her grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.
If you're looking to add a loving, playful puppy to your home, Peppermint might be the perfect match. Apply today - Peppermint can't wait to meet her forever family!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
