Lariat (Larry) - Basset Hound and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Mountain Center, California

Meet Lariat, aka Larry!

Larry is a little guy with a big heart and absolutely nowhere to be in a hurry. This easygoing pup is just happy to be here, soaking up all the good things life has to offer: yummy food, attention from his favorite humans, and plenty of cuddles.

And then there are those short little legs. We can't promise they'll help him win any races, but they're certainly winning hearts! Larry is the kind of puppy who makes you smile just by existing, and we think he'd make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

If you're looking for a laid-back little companion who's ready to fill your life with love, laughs, and cuddles, Larry might just be your guy!

Come meet Lariat at Living Free Animal Sanctuary and see what all the fuss is about!

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
