A 3 month old, 19 pound Basset Hound mix, Smokey's playful heart and wonderfully inquisitive personality leaves a trail of smiles wherever she goes. Affectionate, funny, smart, and generous with puppy kisses, she loves children, enjoys other dogs, and has a knack for making everyday moments a little more fun.

Whether she's proudly inspecting her favorite toy, following you around the yard, or learning something new, Smokey approaches life with enthusiasm and an irresistible "what's next?" attitude.

Life is always a little more interesting with a curious companion by your side, and Smokey is ready to discover it all with you.

S.T.A.R. Group, Inc is a foster-based organization located in Corpus Christi, TX. All pets are in a foster home in South Texas and are transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that have transport available.

Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions and a ride on the next available transport to their new families' area.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. S.T.A.R. Group is made up of volunteers, so please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application.
