Butch – Your Sweet, Laid-Back Buddy
Meet Butch, an approximately 9 month old medium-sized cutie with the sweetest personality. Our best guess is that he may be a hound and terrier mix, but whatever his breed blend is, it created one wonderful dog.
Butch is a gentle and laid-back boy who enjoys taking life at a slower pace. He is doing great walking on a leash and would love a family who enjoys relaxing walks and quiet companionship. Butch can be a little shy when he first meets new people, but give him a little time and patience and his sweet nature really starts to shine.
Once he feels comfortable, Butch shows just how loving and loyal he can be. He is the kind of dog who will happily stay by your side and become a steady, comforting companion.
If you are looking for a calm, sweet dog who just needs a little time to bloom, Butch may be the perfect addition to your family. Go ahead and submit an adoption application for Butch now.
Butch is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventions.
$250 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas)
$550 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)
ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy. Terriers come in various sizes and coat types, but they all share a common heritage as fearless and determined hunters. These dogs are typically highly trainable, making them versatile companions for active individuals and families alike. With their loyalty and playful demeanor, terriers are beloved for their endless enthusiasm and affectionate nature.
