Dex is a 1.5-year-old Australian Kelpie mix weighing about 40 pounds, with the cutest big pointy ears you've ever seen and a heart just as sweet.

This handsome boy was found running after someone that no longer wanted him, our friends at Feeding Perris strays saw him and stopped the car. Once they caught up with him, he walked right up to them like he knew they came back for him. They leashed him with no problem and then carried him into the car. 💔

This was truly so sad and devastating. and is now hoping for a second chance at the life he deserves.

Dex can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and you'll quickly see what a gentle, loving companion he is.

He's great on leash, gets along well with other dogs, and has a calm, kind nature that makes him easy to love. Once Dex feels safe, his affectionate personality starts to shine and you'll have a loyal best friend by your side.
