MEET VALERIE ROSE, our little blondie with white socks, hazel eyes, and an adorable pink nose!

This lovable pup is only one year old and 22 pounds and full of charm and personality. She absolutely loves her toys and is always ready for playtime. She is also just as happy cuddling up close for some quite affection.

Valerie Rose is crate-trained and house-trained and walks well on a leash. She is great with other dogs, and a bit wary of cats.

Valerie Rose was rescued on Valentine's Day from a ditch in critical condition, unable to move and in extreme pain. We rushed her to the ER. X-rays revealed a severely fractured pelvis, dislocation of both hips, and a metal pellet in her abdomen, suggesting she may have been shot and then hit by a car while trying to escape.

This sweet girl went through three orthopedic surgeries and never complained. She is now fully healed and doesn't let the past slow her down.
