MEET ROMIE!
Romie has a heart of gold and the perfect temperament. Although one of her back legs had to be amputated after a gunshot wound, she has fully moved on from her past. She loves to play and go on walks, but she is equally content lounging on the couch.
Romie settles down nicely for bed and sleeps through the night. While she does fine in her crate, she is so well-behaved that she usually cuddles in bed with her foster parents or sleeps on the couch. Romie is house-trained and non-destructive with furniture, though she might "read" the mail if it’s left lying around!
Romie enjoys long-lasting chews, stuffed toys, and playing fetch. She even brings out the playful side of her foster sibling, who can be a bit of a "grumpy old man." She walks well on a leash, greets other dogs nicely, and is generally very quiet—only barking at the occasional squirrel or dog passing by the window.
Romie has a gorgeous coat similar to a flat-coated retriever. She is approx 1 year old and weighs 26 lbs. Her furever family is going to be extremely lucky to have this lady in their life!
