Meet Super Trooper!

This big hunk of love went unseen at the shelter for months, so we just had to break him out.

Trooper may very well be the dog that's got it all! Sweet and calm, happy to play, independent but loves to be by your side! He's a pretty relaxed dog, but who doesn't love some play time too. He will jog around to tire himself out, then he's right back to being a couch potato by your side.

He loves to be petted and loves attention, and he will let you know with a few soft barks if he decides you're not giving him enough of it.

He gets along great with other dogs, but he will try to steal all of the lovin' you're willing to give out.

Trooper is a great leash walker, does not seem to pull while walking, and will be a wonderful companion. Given he's middle aged (perhaps 4 or 5), he's past the puppy years, house trained, knows basic commands like sit and down, and he's happy just being in your company. He really is the total package. He's a perfect 55 pounds - not too big and not too small.
