Peeper #5221 - Australian Shepherd Dog Available for Adoption in Ontario, California

Meet Peeper, aka "Pedey" — named after Red Sox legend Dustin Pedroia, known for his hustle!

Pedey is a 15-week-old Australian Shepherd mix who is up to date on his puppy vaccinations. He has not yet been neutered because he's still too young.

This handsome boy is as sweet and friendly as they come. Pedey believes everyone he meets is a potential best friend and happily runs over to greet people with kisses and tail wags. He loves people of all ages and especially enjoys being close to his humans. Whether he's sitting on your feet while you cook , keeping you company during your morning coffee , or snuggled up for a couch nap , Pedey always wants to be part of the action.

He walks nicely on a leash and already knows "sit" and "touch"—because Mr. Hustle knows treats are involved! He eagerly cleans up every meal and enjoys dining in his own private restaurant (his crate). Other than mealtime, he'd much rather be with his people or playing with his foster brother, Bodie. The two are fast friends and spend plenty of time chasing, wrestling, and sharing toys.

Unlike his energetic foster brother, Pedey has a wonderful off-switch. When playtime is over, he's perfectly happy to relax in the grass or snooze on the patio. He is definitely a Velcro pup and loves being near his family.

His potty training is going wonderfully, and he's already sleeping 6–7 hours overnight before needing a potty break. Despite his outgoing personality, he has the tiniest little voice and rarely uses it. One of the few times we heard it was when a couch pillow fell on the floor—he gave it a few suspicious growls before realizing it was only a pillow!

Everyone who meets Pedey comments on how handsome, affectionate, and lovable he is. This little all-star is ready to bring his hustle, heart, and endless cuddles to his forever family.
