At 8 years young (turning 9 in January), Diesel proves that age is just a number! This energetic, affectionate, and high personality boy is looking for his perfect match! Whether you want to foster, foster to adopt, or adopt, Diesel is ready to bring a ton of love and fun into your life!
Diesel is an active boy who would love a home where he can receive exercise and mental stimulation! He starts his walks with a hilarious burst of high energy zoomies and sniffing. Once he settles down, he walks beautifully on a leash.
He is crate trained, rides like a total champ in the car, and is a superstar in doggy daycare environments! He is a vocal boy who will happily alert his humans of any potential danger.
Diesel is an excellent communicator. He exhibits some resource guarding towards other dogs when it comes to food, toys, and high-value treats (bully sticks). He does not bite, just growls to say “Please respect my space.” Because of this, he will need an owner who has experience.
He is great with other dogs and thrives in his daycare group play! He is selective on cats. He would do best with older children who can understand dog boundaries!
