Meet Auzie

Auzie is a sweet 10-year-old Australian Shepherd who is ready for the soft, comfortable life he deserves.

After being saved from a difficult situation by a caring neighbor, Auzie was nursed back to health and given the chance to start over. Despite everything he's been through, this little 20-pound guy is incredibly sweet and loves being around people.

Auzie is also good with other dogs, and his caregiver believes he would do well with children. His experience with cats is currently unknown. He walks nicely on a leash, keeps his crate clean, and is working on becoming more comfortable with crate training.

As part of getting him healthy again, Auzie needed to have all of his teeth removed. He's feeling much better now, but he'll need to eat soft food for the rest of his life-a pretty small accommodation for such a special guy.

At 10 years old, Auzie isn't asking for much. He's looking for a safe home, a cozy place to rest, and people who will make sure the rest of his life is filled with the love and care he should have had all along.

After everything Auzie has overcome, we'd love nothing more than to see his next chapter be his very best one.
