Please welcome Philip back to Rescue Row. Philip was adopted three years ago and, through no fault of his own, has found himself back in our care. His mom was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness, and his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he can find the active lifestyle he deserves. Now 31⁄2 years old, Philip is searching for a very active home where he can thrive as an only dog or with another compatible canine companion. Philip takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes a true Velcro pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He is affectionate, loyal, and forms deep bonds with his people. He is house trained, kennel trained, great with babies and children, does well with other dogs and ignores the resident boss cat. According to his sister's DNA: Wisdom Panel, Philip is:49% Australian Shepherd/42% Poodle/7% Golden Retriever/2% Miniature American Shepherd. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will happily join you on all of life's adventures, Philip may be your perfect match. Apply today at www.rescuerowinc.org

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
