DESCRIPTION
Chiggy is a 3-month-old, 15.2-pound puppy with gorgeous Australian Shepherd-style looks, big brown eyes, a sweet wide muzzle, velvet-soft fur, and a little butterfly marking on his tummy. He and his siblings came into rescue after losing their mama, an Australian Shepherd, far too soon. Their dad is possibly a Boxer. Chiggy is gentle, affectionate, playful, intelligent, and eager to be part of family life. He loves snuggles, tummy rubs, ear scritches, kisses, the ball pit, squeaky stuffies, tug, chasing balls, snuffle mats, snuffle balls, and level two and three puzzles. When his ears are rubbed, he slowly melts into a furry puddle on the floor. He is doing well with potty training when taken outside regularly, especially after waking up or eating, and will usually use a potty pad if he cannot get outside. He can go up and down stairs and is learning sit. Chiggy has done great with a considerate 8-year-old child and is good with men, women, elderly folks, small dogs, older dogs, male dogs, and female dogs. He has not been tested with cats, very young children, or large dogs. Chiggy would love an active family who will include him in daily life and continue his puppy training with patience and consistency. A friendly dog his size would likely be a wonderful bonus.
