JUNIPER arrived at the shelter on April 1st, a big russet brown boy that ACC medical staff immediately flagged for cruelty due to abandonment. He was left overnight tied up with other dogs. Whatever happened to him before that day left him cautious and also heartbreakingly patient. For two long months he has waited at his kennel door, tail wagging softly, hoping someone will choose the quiet dog - the one who doesn't jump or shout or demand attention. But because he's shy, he's been passed over again and again. Now he's out of time. Juniper is the dog who sits gently between your legs for pets, who leans his whole warm body into you and follows you around. He takes treats with the softest mouth. He walks beautifully once he settles. He greets other dogs politely and then minds his own business.
Juniper doesn't love loudly he loves deeply. He offers his heart slowly, carefully, and forever. PLEASE HELP US GET THIS SWEET SOUL OUT OF THE SHELTER!
LETS GET ADORABLE JUNIPER TO SAFETY! PLEASE HELP!
CAN YOU BE HIS HERO?
