Ellie - Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Dallas, Texas

Say hello to Ellie!

This beautiful girl is about 3.5-4 years old, 50 lbs, and an Aussie/Cattle Dog/Heeler mix with the perfect blend of brains, loyalty, and sweetness!

Ellie is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people—shes friendly, loving, and has an all-around wonderful disposition. Shes great with kids, housebroken, and crate trained... basically, shes got the foundation everyone hopes for in a dog!

Why we love Ellie:
Friendly and affectionate
Great with kids
Housebroken & crate trained
Smart and eager to connect with her people- takes redirection well
Loyal, loving, and full of personality

Dog friends: Ellie can be a bit selective—she enjoys some dogs and isnt a fan of others, so she may thrive best as your one-and-only (and trust us, shes more than enough love to go around )

Home needs: Because of her breed and energy level, Ellie will need a home with a yard to run and play—no apartments for this girl.

Foster plea: Ellie would truly benefit from a foster who can spend a bit more time working with her and helping her shine. Even a temporary foster for just 2 weeks could make a huge difference in setting her up for success—or better yet, an adopter ready to give her the forever home shes been waiting for!

This sweet girl has been patiently waiting and we just dont understand how she keeps getting overlooked... could you be her person?
