Meet Sorren!

Sorren is a 4.5-month old, 16 lb Miniature Australian Shepherd with plenty of puppy energy and a whole lot of love to give! He's an affectionate little guy who loves giving kisses, playing chase, and romping around with his foster dog sibling. He also LOVES toys and is always up for a game of tug or chase.

As a young puppy, Sorren is still learning how to settle/relax and doesn't quite have an "off switch" yet. He has started to learn that his crate is his safe space and is a great place for nap time. He may bark for a little while when first crated, but he settles in and does well once he realizes it's time to relax.

Sorren is also still working on his potty training, but with a consistent schedule, he's been doing great and hasn't had any accidents. He's also been able to sleep the whole night in his crate. He is currently teething, so like most puppies his age, he enjoys chewing and will need appropriate toys and continued guidance on what is safe and not safe to chew.

Like any Australian Shepherd, he's energetic, very smart and aiming to please his people. He's starting to learn "sit" and "down", and with some encouragement and treats, he could learn so many more tricks. He's still getting used to new people and new experiences and will need slow introductions to help build his confidence. He's isn't a fan of loud or sudden noises and can be startled by unexpected bangs. Because of this, a calmer home with older children maybe a better fit.

Sorren is a sweet, playful puppy who is still learning about the world. He'll need a family who can be patient with him, provide plenty of playtime and appropriate outlets for his puppy energy, and continue helping him learn and gain confidence. In return, he'll happily replay you with kisses, cuddles, and plenty of puppy antic!

Sorren is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $450.00.


All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
