Stetson - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Alexandria, Virginia

Stetson is a precious red tri mini-Aussie with a nub tail that never stops. Hes about 18 months old and 33 pounds.

So far, we know that Stetson is a little shy with new people and in new places, but if you are his person, he is always thrilled to lean in for some luvs. His personality shines with other dogs and has yet to meet one he didnt like. He is also great with cats!

He is making great progress on crate training and house training manners, as well as basic obedience and leash walking.

Stetson needs an owner willing to continue exposing him to new experiences and working with him on his training. His best day is playing with a dog friend and snuggling with his person. He has FOMO and may bark when left alone. Though hes settling more every day, he may not be well suited for apartment living.
