Meet Buddy McBee! This big, fluffy, handsome boy has a story—and a heart that’s just waiting for the right person to truly see it. Buddy came to us from a shelter, and while we don’t know everything about his past, it’s clear he didn’t always experience the kindness he deserved. Because of that, he can be a little unsure at first. But here’s the beautiful part—Buddy has made incredible progress thanks to a dedicated team and his patient, loving foster. Every day, he’s learning that people can be safe, kind, and loving. Once Buddy begins to trust you, his loving personality shines. He is incredibly affectionate, enjoys running and playing in the backyard, and thrives when he can burn off his energy. He’s leash trained, knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and has even worked with a professional trainer—including muzzle training and being calm. Buddy needs a calm, experienced dog owner who understands that trust takes time. He’s not the right fit for a first-time dog owner, but for someone patient and steady, he has so much love to give. He feeds off your energy, so a calm and confident presence will help him feel safe and secure. He would do best in a home without young children, but could do well with a mellow, respectful dog companion. Buddy represents a very special kind of rescue—the one who may not be “perfect,” but who so deeply wants to love and be loved. He just needs someone willing to go slow, build that bond, and show him that he’s finally home.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $500 adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.

The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog known for its loyalty and work ethic. Originating in the United States, despite its name, this breed is prized for its agility, trainability, and versatility in various dog sports and activities. Australian Shepherds have a distinctive medium length coat that comes in different colors, often with unique merle patterns. With proper training, socialization, and exercise, these dogs make excellent companions for active families and individuals seeking a devoted and playful four legged friend.
