ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. // // Meet Peppermint! She is a 2-year-old, 32 lb. Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix. She is such a sweet girl. She just wants to be loved and is always looking for attention. She rarely barks and doesn’t join in with the other dogs in the house while they bark at the fence. She gets along with all 6 dogs in the house. Due to her breed, she does tend to herd and will benefit from an active home. She’s fine with the house cat and bunny. Her foster mom is currently fostering 5 kittens and Peppermint is great with them as well! She’s great in the car and just stays in one place. Peppermint is housetrained with a yard, but hasn’t been walked much on a leash, so that will take some adjusting. Peppermint is a little nervous, so is looking for someone to show her the world isn’t a scary place. She can e reactive while on leash and will benefit from an experienced owner who can help train her. She’d love to go on adventures once she’s comfortable. She’s such a great dog who just wants someone to love her. If you are looking for the perfect pup and have a home with lots of love, please apply for sweet Peppermint! She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,
