Latte is a beautiful 8-month-old Australian Kelpie mix, currently about 35 lbs. She is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown, likely around 45 lbs.

Latte’s story didn’t have an easy beginning. She and her siblings were found on the streets, severely underweight, exhausted, and barely surviving. They were just puppies trying to stay alive without the safety, food, and care every little one deserves. Thankfully, they were rescued in time, and because people cared enough to step in and help, Latte and her siblings were given something they had never had before a chance at a future.

Despite everything she went through, Latte is a gentle, loving soul. She is calm and laid-back, although still a little shy when meeting new people. She is learning that people can be kind and that she no longer has to worry about where her next meal will come from. With a little patience, her sweet and playful personality begins to shine.

Latte enjoys playing but isn’t a wild or rough puppy. She does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and would especially benefit from having another friendly, similar-sized dog in her new home. A confident canine companion could help her continue to come out of her shell.

She is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and currently working on her leash skills. She can sometimes playfully nip at fingers, so a home without very young children would probably be best. Her behavior with cats is unknown.

Latte has already survived the hardest chapter of her life.
Now she is ready for the best one a family of her own, a safe place to sleep, and someone who will make sure she never has to struggle to survive again.
