A family was giving puppies away at Walmart down in Louisiana when a young man spotted Sasha and just couldn’t resist that adorable little face. He took her home, hoping it would work out. Unfortunately, his mom wasn’t thrilled with the idea, and the resident dog wasn’t exactly welcoming either. That’s when NYSRR stepped in to make sure this sweet girl had a safe place to land.
Today, Sasha is thriving in her foster home, where she lives happily with other dogs, an inside cat, and kids. She is housetrained, sweet, easygoing, and ready to find the forever family she deserves.
Sasha has been fully vetted, is up to date on her vaccines, and has been spayed. She’s done her part — now all she needs is a family to love her forever.

PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are NOT local - we partner with a rescue group in Louisiana, who gets these dogs before they end up in a shelter. They are brought up to the Northeast on paid transport - this fee is included in the Adoption Fee.
