Ruby, an adorable 2–3-month-old Catahoula mix girl, possibly mixed with a hound.

At this age, Ruby is exactly what a puppy should be: happy, curious, playful, and full of life. But her story could have ended very differently. Ruby and her entire little family were dumped in the woods and left there to die. Somehow, a miracle happened. The right people found these babies, and Ruby pulled the winning ticket in life when she landed with an experienced and wonderful foster mom, where she is finally safe, loved, and cared for.

Sometimes angels really do walk among us. They are the people who stop, pick up an abandoned puppy, and give her the chance she was never supposed to have. Now Ruby needs the final piece of her happy ending: her own family.
