Luna - German Shepherd Dog and Husky Dog for Adoption in Liverpool, Texas

Meet Luna – Rescued Before the Freeze and Ready to Shine - Transport Available Nationwide

If you could see me now, with my soft, healthy coat, you might never guess how I looked when I was rescued. Back then, I was battling a severe case of mange, covered in sores with hardly any fur. A great rescue team and caring vets helped me through it, and I’ve been flourishing ever since.

I’m Luna. My mom, my siblings, and I once called a drainage pipe home, surviving outdoors until volunteers saved us just before a Texas freeze. That rough beginning left me a little shy, and I can be timid with new people. Please don’t let that fool you. I have a lot of heart, and I just need time to show it.

The family I’m hoping for will be patient and understanding. They’ll give me a quiet place to unwind and let me warm up on my own schedule. They’ll also celebrate the little victories with me, because each one means so much.

I’d love to share my home with another dog. I adore canine company, and a friendly, confident dog would help me feel safe and show me the ropes. Together we could run around the yard, and I could show off my skills with a chew toy. Just a warning: I can destroy a stuffed toy in under five minutes. It’s kind of my specialty.

Luna is fully vetted and ready to go. If you’re interested in meeting Luna, click on the “Start your Inquiry” button to fill out an Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our website and fill out an application at www.lonestarpawz.com.
