Meet Pip — Say hello to Pip, a pretty little Australian Cattle Dog mix who is about 5 months old and already stealing hearts with her sweet personality and gorgeous blue eyes. Exactly what’s in her DNA? Well, Pip comes from the Navajo Nation, so there’s probably a whole lot more going on in that family tree than we’ll ever know! We wouldn’t be surprised to find a little Australian Shepherd in the mix, too.

At around 20 pounds, Pip is currently the perfect pint-sized package and will likely grow into a small-to-medium-sized adult, although puppy predictions are always a bit of a guessing game. One thing we can predict: she’s going to be adorable.

Pip is a sweet, slightly shy girl who takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, her happy puppy personality starts to shine. She lives with other dogs and does wonderfully with them. In fact, another friendly, well-adjusted dog in her forever home could be just what Pip needs—a confident canine buddy to show her the ropes, build her confidence and remind her that the world is a pretty fun place.

Like any young puppy, Pip is still figuring things out. She is working on leash walking and house training, and she genuinely wants to get it right. She is eager to please and responds well to encouragement, so with patience, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement, she should continue making great progress.

Pip may not be the puppy who bursts through the door announcing her arrival to the entire neighborhood. She’s more of a “let me observe this situation for a minute... okay, I’m in!” kind of girl.
