Emrys - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Border Collie Dog for Adoption in Colleyville, Texas

Emrys is a 1.5-2 year old fully vetted border collie/cattle dog mix. He loves to play and be around people! Playing tag and chase with his person might just be his favorite past time. He is dog friendly, but play with other dogs should be monitored, as he can be a rowdy player!

He knows:
- Touch.
- Sit.
- Down.
- Leave It.
- Place.

He is learning:
- Stay.
- Wait.
- Good walking manners.

He would be best in a home without cats or small pets. Children 10 or older is recommended!

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Raising The Bar Animal rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $300 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
