Rookie, WORKING CAT, Bonded Trio - Domestic Medium Hair and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mckinney, Texas

Rookie isn’t looking for a lap to curl up in. He, Stryker, and Dusty are looking for something much different... a safe place where they can simply be who they are.

These three siblings were rescued as tiny feral kittens from the Arlington EMS Operations Center in 2025 along with their mama. While their mother eventually learned to trust people and found a loving home, her babies never did.

For months, they lived safely indoors with warm beds, good food, toys, and endless patience. We hoped they would discover that life with humans could be wonderful. But no matter how much love we gave them... they never wanted that life.

Instead, they showed us that some cats simply aren’t meant to be companion pets. Rescue isn’t about changing who they are. It’s about finding the place where they can truly thrive.

Rookie, Stryker, and Dusty are a bonded trio and will only be adopted together.

They are healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and ready for a permanent working-cat home.

Ideal homes include:
· Barns
· Ranches
· Farms
· Warehouses
· Shops
· Other secure working environments

Although they are not lap cats, they still deserve a loving, lifelong home that provides:

· A safe, permanent home base
· Daily food and fresh water
· Shelter from the elements
· Veterinary care when needed
· A proper acclimation period before exploring their new surroundings

These cats are NOT available for TNR, community cat colonies, or simply being released outdoors and fed. They deserve a permanent, managed working-cat home where they will be protected, cared for, and valued for the rest of their lives.
