At just 1 year old, this Heeler mix hasn't had the easiest start in life. Coming from a homeless camp, the world of house living, routines, and all the little things most dogs take for granted are still new to him. He's going to need a patient person willing to show him the ropes and help him build confidence.
Once he gets to know you, his sweet personality really shines. He loves people, has shown no aggression, and is learning that there's a whole lot of good in this world. The leash is still a little scary, but he's making progress every day!
This boy is a bit of a blank slate, and with time, consistency, and lots of love, we think he's going to blossom into an amazing companion.
