Meet Skylar! Skylar is a roughly 8 month old puppy who still has puppy energy, but that doesn't mean she's not the SWEETEST girl you have ever met! She is so eager to please and she loves humans of all shapes and forms. She has not had exposure to children but based on her personality, there is no doubt she will be great with them!

Skylar loves other dogs and would be best in a home with a playmate. She hasn't had exposure to cats but given her playful nature, she might want to play with them (and they may not want to reciprocate).

She walks well on a leash and would be best in an active household.

After spending several formative weeks in the shelter, she is still working on mastering her potty training skills but she has come a long way and is catching on quickly. She is crated at night and has been sleeping peacefully although she may whine for a couple of minutes initially but then settles down quite quickly.

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
