Xanadu is a low maintenance, even-keeled, serene and affectionate, black and white merle girl. Most like a blue heeler in breed.

Personality
Xanadu is so sweet and well behaved. She genuinely gets along with everyone and all other dogs and is very gentle. She settles herself in to a new household with confidence and grace. She is polite and patient and trusting. She doesnt make any waves except maybe when she sees a squirrel in the backyard. She loves being outside as well as curling up on the couch or on your lap. She doesn't need anyone to watch over her and isn't needy about attention. She can take care of herself, but still comes when called and is happy to see you. She is great with other dogs and lives to play tag. She sits on your feet facing away to tell you that you are hers.

Background
Xanadu was found as a stray in a neighborhood between 45 and the Hardy Toll rd inside bltwy 8 in Houston. She was in rough shape with bald patches, rashes, thin coat and skinny. She looked like she had recently weaned a litter. She hung around and slept on her finders front porch for a week until GNAR volunteers could find her a foster home placement.
