Blue is a handsome 4-year-old male Anatolian Shepherd × Great Pyrenees mix who has overcome a lot and is ready to find his forever family. Blue is a tripod, having had one of his hind legs amputated, but he doesn't let that slow him down!

Blue is easy to walk and doesn't pull, making him a pleasure to take out and about. He is not reactive to people, bikes, or horses passing by, and he handles new experiences well with the right support. When he does become stressed, Blue responds well to training and guidance and is very manageable with his handler.

Blue is also wonderful with people, housebroken, and loves spending time with his humans. One of his favorite activities is swimming, so a home where he can enjoy some water adventures would be a bonus!

When it comes to other dogs, Blue is capable of living with another dog—it just needs to be the right match, just like any other dog! He has done well with larger female dogs, but seems to get along best with smaller dogs. He can become stressed when interacting with larger dogs on walks, but is doing well with working through his stress with his training. With appropriate support and management, he is able to work through these situations.

He's looking for someone who will give him the patience, structure, and encouragement he needs while also appreciating all the things that make him special.
