Meet Frida — this beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix came to us in need of an amputation of her right hind leg, and she has taken it all in stride (quite literally). Frida is ready for her new home, and she's destined to become someone's "soul dog" — real dog lovers know exactly what that means.

Frida is the kind of girl that everyone who meets her falls in love with — from the surgeon and operating room staff, to the shelter team who advocated so hard for her, to every volunteer and staff member here at Thrive HQ. Her fur is impossibly soft, her brownish-red eyes are completely soulful, and she carries an enthusiasm for life that reminds all of us to look for the good in everything.
