Jada - American Staffordshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Wilmington, North Carolina

Please welcome Miss Jada to the FBAR-NC family!
Jada desperately needed out of the shelter. She had been there for NINETY- NINE days after being surrendered by her human. Yes you read that correctly (99)!!! Fortunately, we had a fabulous foster step up and let us know that she would take her. Sooooo, she got her jailbreak!!
Jada is a very sweet and kindhearted pup. She loves to smile, hang with her humans and her furry friends, and just live life. Her resilience is one to admire. Despite her rough beginnings and her extended stay in the shelter, she's a happy go lucky, goofy gal that's just so grateful to have her freedom and doesn't hesitate to show it!
This 1-2 year young gal isn't holding any grudges although she certainly would have cause to do so. If only people could be as forgiving as pups......

Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
