Meet Indie!

Indie is about 10 months old and 35 pounds of personality and love! She might be a little shy when she first meets you...for about two minutes! Once she decides you're a friend, she is ALL in. Her excitement shows just when her people walk into the room and she loves being close.

Indie would thrive with an adopter who understands her high energy needs. Are you adventerous? Indie is your girl! She loves walks, running around a fenced yard, and playing with fellow canine friends. She's does great with children and always happy to be part of whatever her human foster siblings are doing.

Indie has that wonderful "off switch" once she's gotten her energy out. She loves curling up and snuggling with her family and at bedtime she sleeps in her crate and soundly through the night.

She's also a smart little girl! She knows “sit” on command, comes when you call her, and is working on “lay down.”

Indie is crate trained, potty trained, affectionate, and attentive to what's happening around her. She's also happy to alert to anything interesting going on.

Indie really enjoys her food and because of that, she is not a fan of sharing. Her new family should understand her preference for giving Indie her space away from other dogs while eating or having high-value treats.

The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.

The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
