No More Chains
Imagine living your life confined in a small space day after day after day. You're bored, tired, cold, hot, alone. You are powerless to do anything but watch life go by. This was the life Orion led. Most of her years were spent at the end of a chain.
Fortunately, some kind construction workers alerted a foster for OPCS and Orion was saved. She was unsure at first but after settling into her foster home she started the journey of learning to become a real dog. Even experiencing something as simple as a blanket was like heaven to her those first few nights.
Gradually, things that Orion viewed as fearful became the same things she learned to love later. Every little milestone was cause for celebration. When she understood the concept of jumping up on the couch, when she picked up a toy for the first time, when she understood consistent meals were her new normal now: all triumphs for her.
Fast forward to today and Orion is a well adjusted, happy girl. She enjoys spending time with her foster family and she takes her job as full time “treat beggar” very seriously. Most days she can be found in the kitchen or anywhere by her foster's side. Anywhere you go, Orion will follow. This girl has endless love to give and the gratitude she shows everyday is undeniable.
This amazing girl has survived so much and now she is finally ready for a family of her very own. She is crate/potty trained and walks well on a leash. Orion does well with other dogs. However, she can easily be an only dog as well.
