Hi, I'm Ash

I'm a loving pit bull mix with a gentle heart, a soft spirit, and a story I'm still learning how to leave behind. Not long ago, I was found scared, hungry, and covered in fleas-but some kind people gave me a second chance, and I've been learning ever since what it means to feel safe and loved

Now I'm starting to show my true personality. I'm affectionate, calm, and I really enjoy being close to my people. I love cuddling on the couch, going for relaxed walks, and simply being included in whatever my humans are doing. I also enjoy exploring the yard with my dog friends and taking in all the new smells life has to offer.

I'm crate-free in my foster home (I have my own cozy space instead), and I've been doing really well with house training and behavior-I'm not destructive and I've settled into home life beautifully. I'm also leash trained and enjoy walks, even though I'm still polishing up my skills and learning more commands.

One important thing about me is that I'm currently heartworm positive, but I'm already on treatment and getting stronger every day I'm on my way to feeling even better soon.

I do well with other dogs and enjoy their company, especially after proper introductions. I haven't been fully tested with cats, and I may have a higher prey drive, so a cat-free home would be best for me. I may also do fine with respectful kids, though I haven't had much experience with them yet.

My ideal home would be:

* A calm, laid-back family or person (1-3 people would be perfect)
* A home with a fenced yard where I can safely relax and explore
* Someone patient who will continue helping me build confidence and learn commands
* A loving environment where I can just be part of the family

After everything I've been through, I don't ask for much-I just want love, safety, and a cozy place to rest my head. In return, I'll give you loyalty, affection, and my whole heart

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.

Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
